Stormy Sunday

There were storms in the night but no damage reported. It's hot and generally quite humid here so the rain was at least partially welcome. Briefing today at 1200 and a slightly less cheerful comp director had to report on further storms possible later in the day.

This has affected plans; the navigation task is postponed and in its place are (engine off) spot landings with measured landing distance. We'll use the extra time on the airfield to weigh fuel for tomorrow's economy task.

Meanwhile, the FAI Jury are busy; lots to do while all the time watching over events to make sure competitors get a fair chance to show off their skills. From left to right; Tormod VEIBY (NOR), Honorary President of the FAI Microlight Commission (CIMA), Wolfgang LINTL (GER), Jury President here at Wloclawek as well as CIMA 1st Vice-President, and Rob HUGHES (GBR), CIMA 2nd Vice-President.
